Congratulations on
raising such a compassionate, resourceful, and socially
aware child! What?! Oh, they didn't direct you to this
page?
Well ...
Congratulations on being such a loving parent. One who
is concerned about your youngster's well-being and one
who would rather have your child participating in
something good, useful and infinitely more helpful to
them when the time comes to fill out those college
applications, than say, hanging out at the mall or
spending endless hours playing Call of Duty: Black Ops.
The Junior Volunteer
Program at the SPCA Tampa Bay is a great way for your
son or daughter to learn about the compassionate care of
animals, customer service and animal handling. They
will have the opportunity to be exposed to many areas of
Tampa Bay's largest animal shelter and work alongside
the employees, adult volunteers, and fellow Junior
Volunteers. Not only will they learn a whole lot of
practical information, it is also a chance to
demonstrate reliability and responsibility, to meet all
kinds of interesting people, to make a difference in the
lives of many animals and to develop a sense of
accomplishment.
